The non-major bank has launched its new tagline in Australia as it moves to reflect its commitment to helping customers do the things that matter most to them.
ING Australia (ING) has this week adopted the tagline “Do your thing” in its branding and launched a new marketing campaign on the theme to reflect the bank’s “new brand direction”.
The motto, which was first announced by the global banking company last year as its inaugural global tagline, aims to articulate the bank’s purpose of empowering people to stay a step ahead in life and encouraging people to do more of the things that are important to them.

ING Australia has launched its new brand direction, complete with a refreshed logo and a campaign which encourages customers to ‘do your own thing’.
The new brand direction and ‘do your thing’ positioning is led by a TVC which sees the lion from the ING logo come to life, and hang-out with ING customers (in CGI form) as they go about their everyday lives.
ING head of brand, Carly Yanco, said the rebrand was based around messaging that puts customers front and centre, and encourages them to let a “modern and progressive bank” help them do the things that matter most.
