You can see it outlined in yellow indicating the most intense downpours over the inland east bay. The rainfall totals have been impressive in someplaces and over three inches at ben loeman. 30 in san jose and over a third in San Francisco and half an inch in oakland. Because of damage from recent tides and el nino fueled storms. So far at least two residents have been told its no longer safe to live in their homes. Abc 7 News Reporter alan wong has the story. Reporter the constant pounding and destruction by these king tides is forcing the city of pacifica to declare a state of local emergency. Waves are battering the ocean side homes. The biggest one or two i saw came and hit the house against our glass door and everything out there. Reporter pacifica is asking for state and federal assistance after the sea wall along beach boulevard collapsed yesterday. Its like little mini earthquakes and everything throughout the day and the night. Reporter the bluff at the pacific skies Mobile Home Park fell into the ocean. Every time the waves are hitting it with the king tides, its just making it fall to the ground.
