Freshman Hailey Cripe hit a two-run double down the left-field line in the bottom of the seventh to lead Kansas to a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Iowa State Sunday afternoon on Senior Day at Arrocha Ballpark.
Kansas Softball (15-31, 2-13 Big 12) will close out their regular season on the road in Ames, Iowa as they take on Iowa State (25-25, 4-11 Big 12) in a three-game series. Game one is set for Friday. May 6 at 4 p.m. CT followed by a 1 p.m. CT first pitch on Saturday. The series will conclude Sunday at 12 p.m. CT.
