Volunteers prepared bags of freshly cooked meals and handed them out to those who could make it to the venue. Those who couldn't, simply called and provided their address and phone number and the food reached their doorstep.
South Parish Congregational Church hosting curbside Christmas Day dinner
The church is expecting around 200 meals to be delivered and handed out curbside on Friday.

AUGUSTA For this year’s Christmas dinner at South Parish Congregational Church, so many people offered to volunteer to help that organizer Carlene Kaler had to turn some folks down.
“You always wait till the day of and wonder if you will have enough,” she said. “But I feel like I will have too many.”
