Can you imagine that week all of our faith decided we should Work Together as a community of San Francisco and Work Together. Thank you, god. You had to ring the bell a little loud, but we got it. Thank you for the First Responders, many of whom risked their lives. Thank you also for the individuals who are not First Responders, but who stepped out. They let god work in them. When you sadly were out on the streets and using drugs, and the stigma attached to that when youre trying to get clean and stay sober, and work, and turn your life around, the goodwill welcomes you with open arms. When you have a criminal past, and you want a Second Chance, and you dont want people to keep judging you because you made a mistake in the past, the goodwill welcomes you with open arms time and time again. So i just wanted to be here to express my true appreciation for the work that you have done and what you will continue to do and thats why we have to be a Good Community partner with you. The city has to be willing to make things easier for you to do the incredible work that you do to change and save lives. We know the challenges that exist around homelessness in the city and people struggling with Mental Illness and addiction and we are working on a number of Innovative Solutions to try and address what is a real crisis on our streets.
