I wanted to say that every day you prolong the closure is a time to communicate the words from people in the jails as well as making sure that everyone is heard. Plant fruit trees instead of wasting money it would be nice to have aquarium to give me someplace. Shelter beds are needed. It costs money to have people in jail. We think about change in how it treats the people on the margins, undocumented folks, black and brown folks and transand gender, nonconforming folks. We cannot forget what happened with the gladiator case against the sheriff which supervisor walton called for a hearing on accountability of the Sheriffs Department about how are people currently being treated.
