We began collecting in the early part of 2015, two projects that were completed and award commitments for these two particular projects are shown. Plant on the left and on the far right is the motion side and one is by candle stick park so you can see that San Francisco 49 square miles where a lot of rain falls this is a record storm we have over 8 hundred calls and 4 hundreds catch basins cleaned the majority on tuesday and wednesday the second and third thats when we received most of the rain outline all of our pump stations and Treatment Plant were at capacity and for 48 hours straight the system is not large enough to handle those storms youve seen those pictures in the news that one is the lake we had a we knew is was marked for clean up up it collapsed the street and im sure youre aware of in San Francisco the streets are concrete enforced and the quart main the services are back in service and were actually for the repair of this particular one . The largest sink hole during this time and, yes weve been down this street, however, for stormwater historically weve not had trouble the lines are clear and everything is fine yo

The next item is the storm report and im sure youre aware of several days ago we had a upheaval storm that impacted a lot of the of the neighborhoods especially in the low lying areas a lot of it had to do with catch baselines being clogged we have a press conference explaining the upcoming storm that will happen tomorrow and its going to be you know immense rain with wind sow well have 23 thousand catch basins around the city weve asked agencies to clean out the catch basins and other areas for flooding so we also have asked the citizens of San Francisco if you have leads or debris on our sidewalks please clean it up that will clog the catch basins and if you see a catch basin if you can remove the leaves or debris to get that undergoing if not call 311 and it is a life safety issue call 911 we put that message out there with that, tommy give our presentation. Well be staffing up our Emergency Response Center Tomorrow morning others 6 oclock and stay in that mode for the entire time of the storm we anticipate 3 to 5 inches in San Francisco and we also villaraigosa standing by in the areas weve done the clean up and preparation and will continue with the upcoming storm. The biggest challenge when you have heavy winds you get a lot of leaves i have to be constantly out there with 23 catch basins thoughts the city weve been tracking the low lying areas where their prone for flooding we deploy sandbags thats why were asking for people who have seen local flooding happening in you cant get to a catch basin call 311 so thats our easy to deploy crews to clean the catch basins.
