If we follow the evidence by interviewing the person who brought the complaint, the involved Police Officers, and other civilian witnesses. We have subpoena power to compel testimony and obtain evidence. We obtain additional evidence from the Police Department in the form of Police Reports and other documentation generated by the Police Department. We also visit the site of alleged occurrences and may take photographs of the places and persons. Our goal is to complete investigations in nine months.
