UNL’S AG DEPARTMENT SAYS IT NOTICED THE SPILL TODAY, ABOUT THREE MILES FROM THE PLANT, IN A WATERWAY THAT RUNS NORTH TO SOUTH. STAFF TRIED TO BLOCK THE SPILL WITH PLASTIC SHEETING AND A HAYBALE, BUT SOME OF IT WAS STILL SEEPING THROUGH.
