Secret service 75 National Security event. This designation is given to insure the full weight leverage talent and resources of the federal government and our state and local partners to this event and other events like this. When an event is designated the u. S. Secret service assumes its mandated role as the lead agency for it design and implementation of the Operational Security plan. However, the success of these events cannot be obtained by any one agency alone and i can say it has been a collaborative effort between the u. S. Secret service, the San Francisco Police Department, the california Highway Patrol, the federal bureau of investigation, the federal Emergency Management agency, u. S. Coast guard, San Francisco Fire Department and many federal state and local partner tuesday design the security plan.
