SUVA, Fiji (Fiji Times, Oct. 5) – A Fiji tour operator plans to focus on promoting the northern parts of the country.
Yesterday, Captain Cook Cruises left Denarau, Nadi, for a seven-night cruise of the Northern waters and the islands there.
With about 80 people from around the world on board, the ship will visit historical sites, including Levuka and Taveuni. Captain Cook Cruises sales manager Zahid Khan said tourists from Europe, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand were on the cruise. This is great news for tourism in the North and people of the area as we embark on making new destinations, he said.
