Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ram Kirpal Yadav on Sunday expressed grief on the killing of agriculture officer in his parliamentary constituency Sahebnagar. The MP demanded action against the accused at the earliest. “I extend my condolences to his family. I demand that the administration take strict action against the accused,” Yadav said.
The body of the missing officer of agriculture department was found in Sahebnagar under the Gaurichak police station area earlier today.

Jodhpur: A six-day-long search operation for an Army officer came to an end Tuesday. The body of the Army officer was finally found by divers from the Kalyana lake here in the afternoon. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Neeraj Sharma said the body of Captain Ankit Gupta was immediately taken to the Military Hospital. It is not confirmed yet whether his last rites would be performed in Jodhpur or at his native place.
Captain Gupta of the 10 Para (Special Forces) unit of the Army had jumped into the lake from a helicopter with some fellow personnel. They were carrying out a routine exercise Thursday afternoon. The others resurfaced immediately after jumping into the water. However, Captain Gupta failed to show up, thereby triggering the search operation.

In a shocking incident, mortal remains of Captain Ankit Gupta, 28, who went missing after he jumped into a Jodhpur lake as part of his training last week was found in Jodhpur s Kaylana Lake after a five-day-long search operation in 46-ft deep water.
Captain Ankit Gupta of 10 Para (Special Forces), the Army s specialised unit for desert warfare, had jumped into Kalyana Lake from a helicopter on Thursday as part of the training exercise but could not come up with other trainees, police had said, fearing that he might have drowned.
