The record amount of rain over the last few days has caused these streets to flood. And city officials have made the decision to close them. A reported threat has closed down all schools in the Los Angeles Unified School district. District. The threat involved backpacks and packages left at a number of campuses. Authorities have not specified the threat but early reports indicated it was a bomb threat called in to a school board member. Officials are now planning Search Operations at all of the more than 900 schools in the lau School District. This comes just two weeks after the mass shooting in nearby san bernardino.
