In a win for community hospitals, N.J. will allows wider access to angioplasties under new law

Gov. Phil Murphy Monday signed a law that will allow more community hospitals to perform non-emergency angioplasties, the routine, artery-clearing procedure that is a reliable revenue generator in New Jersey’s competitive health care market.
Elective angioplasty is not available in seven of the state’s 21 counties, the law’s sponsors said.
“All New Jerseyans deserve easy access to procedures that can prevent serious illness or death, no matter where they live,” Murphy said in a statement after signing the bill, (A1176)

The groom is the son of Darrell and Vela Leonard of Mount Airy. He attended North Surry High School and is employed at Hooker Furniture in Mount Airy, as a spring up.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Ronald and Lesa Sizemore. She wore a beautiful, elegant, strapless ivory gown covered in lace with beautiful small bead throughout. The gorgeous long lace train was the cherry on top for this beautiful gown. Tomi Lynn wore an ivory veil with a beaded edge to compliment the beads on the dress.
