Suspect put a gun to her head and stole the chevy and took off. The Surveillance Video shows the suspect in the red coat Holding Someone at gun point in the store and left in the stolen chevy suv. And a short time later the officer spotted the vehicle on hazel avenue empty and when the suspect returned the police followed. Another set of officers in plain clothes observed the vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. A plain clothes office approaching the vehicle and gave commands that the suspect did not follow. He made gestures to his waist band despite the orders and the officer did discharge the firearm striking the male one time in the chest. And the man was taken to the hospital in Critical Condition and the office will be placed on administrative duty pending investigation. Reporter that officers name is not yet released but he is a four year veteran of the 18th district and the suspect name is not released but plan to charge him with the carjacking and robbery.
