Pattern. As we head into the afternoon thats where we will see some of the flakes flying across the region. Let me start you out with a look at storm scan3, youll notice that we are very dry across the greater philadelphia region, even into portions every south jersey, as well as delaware. Weve had some snow showers from time to time down the shore early this morning, expecting to see a lot more of that, though, as we head later throughout the day today. It is 36 degrees right now in philadelphia. We are in the mid 30s in wilmington, 34 in millville, 31 down the shore in wildwood. And right around 34 degrees in Atlantic City. Look at these dew points, though, there is a lot of dry air in place, dew point around 19 degrees, in philadelphia, 24 in wilmington, we are going to have to overcome that dry air before we really start to see a snow moving in and snow accumulations beginning across the region. Some spots, with that said, though, how much, have already seen some pretty impressive

The steady snow, thats on track for late this morning through the afternoon hours and into the evening hours. Then well see some slowly accumulating snow. Not expecting any heavy snow here, but its going to be going all day long so eventually it will start piling up, especially on the colder grassy surfaces, 2 to 6 inches of snow can be expected. More in delaware and south jersey than areas north and west. Slippery travel, yes, late in the day. Right now most roads are just damp where the light snow has been falling. It has been melting on those warmer road surfaces. And you can see it falling at ocean city. Weve seen a mix of some raindrops with the snowflakes this morning. Snow will be moving back in to not only ocean city but eventually into philadelphia where were just seeing cloudy skies right now. Some light snow and flurries have already moved in to parts of south jersey and in delaware you can see odessa right now just south in southern New Castle County coming down a little he
