The Inaugural Brevard No One Veteran Left Behind Service was held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on November 14, in between heavy winds, and rain, which likely kept many away.
Brevard veterinarian Dr. Phillip Lee Curry, a dedicated family man and compassionate healer of furry companions, passed away on October 17 in Orlando at the age of 78. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970, including a tour in the Vietnam War. He earned an American Spirit Honor Medal in basic training and went on to work in military intelligence. n 2014, he opened the Animal Care Clinic of Titusville where he continued to care for the beloved pets of Brevard County, bringing comfort and healing to countless animals.
