Concord police were called to the home just before 6 00 and they wound up in a deadly confrontation with the woman who lives there. An officer or officers were not sure how many pulled their weapons and that woman was shot and killed on the path way just steps from her front porch. A neighbor told me he heard what he thought were fire crackers and he looked out the window to see an officer with her gun drawn. That same neighbor says a middle aged couple lives there with another man and woman in their 20s. And it was his impression that the woman who was shot was the older woman. He also said that this is not a house that has been has a history of trouble. Could not recall police being called out to this house before. Now we had heard this woman may have been suicidal.
