Good afternoon. Take you for joining us at noon. A man shot and killed by Phoenix Police after fighting with an officer. This happened overnight near 20th st. And thomas. Marc liverman has more from the scene reporter one suspect is dead after an officer involved shooting that happened early this morning. We are told the officer involved or one of the officers involved was taken to the hospital with a minor injury the face. This is what the scene looked like it has been like this since early this morning. Lets go back because the started between 2 30 and 3 am this morning. An officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle when a suspect approached and that is when the suspect and the officer had a physical fight. And the officer suffered a broken nose. The officer was able to get on the radio and ask for help when it nearby officer showed up and shot the suspect.
