i m sure that not everybody laura: the attack mentality. yeah. it s dangerous, too. laura: you mentioned the college campuses, this is where the mischief starts and parents don t know what their kids are doing. r i want to get your reaction to this disturbing story out of texas. campus reform is reporting thatt incoming texas freshmen are being threatened with doxing publishing their personal contact information if they joined conservative campus groups. apparently a self-described antifa student is behind this. yeah, the problem is these students have not done anything. if you consider joining a conservative organization you ll get doxed. it was thanks to a campus reform that the university took it seriously. first they wanted to say they re not really our students. since campus reform reported on the story, they reached out to r the texas attorney general.
do people, do college kids in particular, get that? when you look at the polling here, 55% of former members of fraternities and sororities were asked, have you experienced hazing? 55% said yes, more than half, a significant number. 42% said no. it is not just frats, right, it is athletic teams, other campus groups where this happens, too. how do you work to build awareness around this? is it moments like this? part of the education proc s process, because this bill not only requires reporting by the colleges but it also requires education of the students. what is hazing? what is appropriate activity versus not ahead of time, so people know not only if they experience it, what it is, but also where they can report it. okay. thank you very much, both of you, for being with us. for being on the today show plaza this morning, talking about this critical issue. we ll have you back once the bill starts to get going bax ec in d.c. we ll be back with today s big picture.
this year to garner the enthusiasm that exists for hillary clinton and channel that into a progressive movement. there is so much enthusiasm on campuseses throughout the united states. now there s over 33 groups throughout the country that are geared solely towards encouraging hillary clinton to ruchb run. ready for hillary provides the training and support necessary to make sure the campus groups are successful. but the campus groups can take on whatever shape they want. you are training essentially a campaign army. where is this enthusiasm coming from? we can look back she ran for president before. she ran for president in 2008. i can look back at the stats from the iowa kcaucuses that year. they lost the caucuses because she lost the young vote. 57% of them went for obama. now you re talking about this big youth enthusiasm for hillary. where is it coming from? i think hillary has become people my age recognize hillary is an impressive individual.

no, i wasn t. it was surprising to me, as well. each of the students were known for their own specialty. cocaine, marijuana. add adderal, ecstasy, ran the gamut. what is the reaction on campus and where are they accused of selling this stuff? accused of selling it from campus, correct? yeah, from campus, so they were accused of selling it out of three fraternity hows and two dorms on campus and the reaction, people have been pretty shocked. a lot of these people were well known. it s gotten reaction from different campus groups. definitely something that s on people s minds today. officially want to read the statement from what we got from the university. the alleged behavior of the students involved in this incident goes against not only state and federal law but also university policy and the pri e principles we have to maintain for a community.
