The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs has undertaken operational activities aimed at controlling the movement and stay of migrants in the city of Bihać at four locations: Žegarsko polje, Debeljača, a location near the Cantonal Hospital and the Jedinstvo football stadium, where the migrants gathered and stayed in makeshift accommodation.

Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotić during his last visit to the Lipa site near Bihać confirmed that preparations for the construction of a migrant center are in the final phase, and that construction work can begin soon.

In accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Engineering Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the Armed Forces of B&H (AFB&H) today completed engineering works on construction and rehabilitation of access road and plateau for future container settlement in the Lipa camp near Bihać.
Doctors and medical staff of health centers in the Una-Sana Canton (USC) provide daily medical care for about 900 migrants and refugees in the Lipa migrant center near Bihać.
