As rob shows us, it was not the only problem in the east bay, a sinkhole is making things difficult on a busy road. Reporter trimmers said it would take days to remove this tree on lafayette circle. It was quiet when it was going down but when it crashed, it hit the cars and made a huge noise. Reporter this woman was checking out her new car, it was one of five cars that the tree hit. I can get another car. Reporter the tree is estimated at 150 years old. Luckily everyone had just gotten inside. A lot of people could have gotten hert. Reporter the wet weather opened up this sinkhole near broadway terrace, but this is not just any sinkhole. A california Highway Patrol officer gave it a name on social media. Meet steve.
