Just after 5 p.m., July 12, Rockport police and firefighters, along with a North East Mobile Health Services ambulance crew, responded to a crash on Route 17 involving a motorcycle and pickup truck.
According to Camden-Rockport Police Chief Randy Gagne, the crash occurred at the intersection of Route 17 and Meadow Street.
Police said that Donald Crockett, 55 of Rockland, was operating his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle and traveling West on Rockland Street, as Christopher LeBlanc, 49, of Rockland, was operating a 2018 Chevrolet pickup and turning left on to Rockland Street from Meadow Street when they crashed.
Crockett was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport with non-life threatening injuries.
