A Uley mum is running 100 kilometres in memory of Josh Hall, who was murdered in Cam, to raise money for The Door youth charity. Nikki Clarke, who lost her brother when she was 21, is completing the fundraiser in solidarity with all those impacted by Josh’s death by running in the shape of words like ‘Josh,’ ‘love’ and ‘hope’ around Wotton, Dursley and Cam. She ‘wrote’ Josh on the Rec playing field in Cam this morning at 6am, where his funeral procession passed by at 10am. “It’s an act of solidarity. Rather than just running kilometres for the sake of running kilometres I’m trying to make it a bit more meaningful and reflective,” said Nikki, who’s daughter went to school with Josh at Rednock.

We have sent our condolences to his family and will commemorate his memory. Josh was the proverbial cheeky lad who had a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous grin. He was well liked by his peers and the staff. Everyone has a fond memory of Josh and that is what we are going to concentrate upon.
