Fresh off its fifth win of the season, the Kansas Men’s Golf team is set for play at the Big 12 Championship, which begins Monday with 36 holes of play at Whispering Pines Golf Club.
The Kansas Men’s Golf team jumped out in front of play at the Hawkeye Invitational on Saturday and stayed there through two rounds, leading the tournament by nine shots heading into Sunday’s third and final round.
The Kansas Men’s Golf team captured its fifth tournament championship of the season on Sunday when the Jayhawks won the Hawkeye Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course by two shots over host Iowa. Senior Harry Hillier paced the Jayhawks and won the tournament at -8, earning the second win of his distinguished career.
The Kansas Men’s Golf team will hit the links for its final regular season tournament of the year on Saturday when the Jayhawks tee off at Finkbine Golf Course for the two-day Hawkeye Invitational hosted by Iowa.
