DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - The Calhoun Community College Career Services team will host an Essential Workers Job Fair to highlight its Career Preparedness Week.
The event will be held on April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Kelley Gymnasium on Calhoun’s Decatur Campus.
According to Kelli Morris, Calhoun Director of Career Services, the event is free and open to Calhoun students, graduates, alumni and community members.
Day of Giving event set for Calhoun Community College
All donations will specifically go to the health care division unless otherwise stated by the donor.

Calhoun Community College Foundation has announced its Annual Day of Giving event, which will be held both online and in-person at the College’s Huntsville and Decatur campuses on March 17.

The College is encouraging everyone to join the challenge. The foundation is planning to use social media and email advertising to push this 24-hour fundraising event.

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - Calhoun Community College adds menâs and womenâs cross-country running teams. Both teams will be added to the athletic program fall 2021.
The college is preparing to hire a part-time coach for both teams.
âIt is an exciting time for Calhoun Athletics,â said Interim President Dr. Joe Burke. âThis new addition will not only increase our extra-curricular offerings to our students, but it also provides us with the opportunity to expand student athlete enrollment.â
