Calhoun Community College hosts mass-casualty disaster drill
The exercise, involving a simulated active-shooter scenario, was held at the Visual Arts Building in downtown Decatur at the Alabama Center for the Art.

DECATUR, Ala. The Calhoun Community College Police Department and Decatur Police Department held a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill in and around the Visual Arts Building in downtown Decatur at the Alabama Center for the Arts, 133 2nd Ave NE, Decatur, AL. The mock disaster involved an active shooter scenario.
According to Calhoun Community COllege, over the last several years, mock drill scenarios have included a bomb threat, bus crash, threat to persons/property as well as an active shooter incident. So that students, staff and visitors to the campus will not

Calhoun Community College Foundation has announced its Annual Day of Giving event, which will be held both online and in-person at the College’s Huntsville and Decatur campuses on March 17.
