Instead of business as usual, the Renegades used Saturday’s contest to knock some rust off for the guys who have not seen as much playing time lately as the team prepares for the start of the MINK League playoffs Monday.
The Jefferson City Renegades have put together their best season yet in the organization’s short history, and there’s one major reason to be credited. The Renegades brought a roster of roughly 30 players into the season, and they wrapped up their final game of the regular season Saturday with 27 of those guys still showing up every day with the same goal of winning.

After a slow start offensively, it was too little, too late for the Jefferson City Renegades on Wednesday night against the St. Joseph Mustangs at Vivion Field.
