JACKSON, MI – The ballot is set.
Jackson voters will decide between nine possible candidates for who will fill city council seats in the next term.
The filing deadline to get on the ballot was Tuesday, April 20, and the City Clerk’s Office has verified all petitions. And four people want to be the city’s next mayor, triggering an Aug. 3 primary election for that citywide seat.
