By MATT PIKE St. Joseph Post A new lake is coming to Caldwell County in the future, and an event this weekend will give people a chance to voice what they would like to see at it. The Little Creek Reservoir Project broke ground in 2021 and is expected to open in the next few years east of Hamilton. Missouri Department of Conservation spokesman Bill Graham says the department is assisting with the project, and will be helping manage the fish and wildlife at the new lake. "We'll be there to provide help with fish and wildlife management on this project, it's a 344-acre lake but it's 700 acres overall," Graham tells KFEQ/St. Joseph Post. "So, we'll be there to advise and assist with any kind of fish and wildlife management." Graham says the department will also help the Caldwell County Commission establish native prairie plants. Graham says establishing these prairie plants around the lake will help give a look at what northwest Missouri used
