Theres still a lot of smoke, and officials tell me the fire is mostly in the basement of the building where it all started. That room is a storage room. Theres also a massage parlor and a hotel in the 3 story commercial building the call came in at 8 40 this evening. Crews were here within 2 minutes and it was declared a 2 alarm almost instantly. There are 70 Fire Fighters and 2 dozen trucks battling this blaze. It isnt clear if this is a resdidential hotel, or if anyone will be displaced tonight. Red cross is on call should their services be needed. Fire officials tell me people were already starting to exit the building when crews arrived.
