On Saturday and Sunday, Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood celebrates its grand reopening. The market has been upgraded with additional shaded seating and new vendors. Through Mother s Day, Naan will host a weekly Sunday pop-up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Lincoln Road s Euclid Oval. While supplies last, you can pick up a rotating selection of samosas filled with various Indian flavors and spices.
One of the most ambitious such happenings is on tap for March: The restaurant reservation system Resy and American Express Gold Card will host a drive-thru restaurant dinner consisting of a ten-course tasting menu prepared by some of Miami s best chefs that you can enjoy without having to leave the safety of your own car.
The Resy Drive-Thru, a two-night culinary event, will take over the parking area at 1 Herald Plaza on Thursday, March 18, and Friday, March 19.
Participating chefs and restaurants include Michelle Bernstein (Cafe La Trova), Michael Schwartz (Harry s Pizzeria), Timon Balloo (Balloo), and José Mendín (Pubbelly Sushi) .Restaurants include L Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Mr. Mandolin, Niu Kitchen, Osaka Nikkei Miami, Planta, and South Beach new arrival Carbone Miami.
A dream team of Miami hospitality professionals is opening Chela s, a Mexican-themed beer garden complete with massive outdoor patio, in Miami Lakes.
Restaurateurs Dan Binkiewicz, Mauricio Lacayo, and Orlando Lamas, along with cantinero Julio Cabrera and chef Daniel Gonzalez, envision Chela s as a long-term pop-up and, if all goes well, maybe a permanent fixture.
Binkiewicz is responsible for some of Miami s best bars, including Blackbird Ordinary in Brickell, the Bar in Coral Gables, and Sweet Liberty on South Beach. Cabrera, who brought the elegance of Cuba s
