NEW CANAAN A part-time town employee accused of a series of commercial burglaries is facing more charges for breaking into a Wilton restaurant, police said.
Lindsey Lyon, 32, was arrested last week in Stamford on an outstanding warrant out of Wilton for third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny charges.
The charges stem from a burglary that occurred on Oct. 26 at Aranci 67 restaurant on Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton, police said.
Lyon, who has worked for the New Canaan Register of Voters since 2014, was placed on administrative leave without pay last week after she was charged by Wilton and Norwalk police, according to Human Resource Director Cheryl Jones.
