Gold star families gathered on for a special Memorial Day ceremony at a New Jersey cemetery founded by one of the state's most influential civil rights activists.
Abby Stunes, 23, of Mitchell, SD, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 3, at First United Methodist Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 12-2:00 PM at the church prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery in Letcher. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.
