You can change your SoundCloud name on both the SoundCloud web browser and mobile platforms.
In both cases, to change your SoundCloud name, you ll need to open the Edit Profile page.
If you use the SoundCloud website to change your name, you can change your profile URL too.
One of the rules of good personal branding is that you need the same username on all your social media accounts.
So if you re an artist with an aging SoundCloud page - the music hosting platform has been around since 2008 - your account might be using an outdated username. If this is the case, and you plan to get back into music, you ll want to change it.
