Appleâs Fitness+ is an engaging service for Apple users, but you should try before you buy
(CNN) Appleâs Fitness+ workout service is finally streaming. Itâs $9.99 per month (or $79.99 a year) for up to five family members, though you can take advantage of a free month trial. I spent a week testing to see how Fitness+ stacks up to other workout services.

Using fitness apps for home workouts isn t a new concept, but their popularity exploded during lockdown. With gyms forced to close, workout apps – which are significantly cheaper than a gym membership – became the go-to way to train.
Now, Apple has decided to join the party with the launch of Apple Fitness+, its own workout app designed to rival Peloton and Les Mills on Demand.
First unveiled back in September, at the same time as the
Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Fitness+ has finally been made available in the UK. But is the fitness service any good, and should you subscribe to it?
