internet. i was on our road trip today, which is the road trip to go across pennsylvania. started in the baptist church in philadelphia in the morning. and went to a farm in burkes county later on in the day and lancaster county.. every one of those counties, it s to continue these fights to make sure their rights are not further eroded. the women s rights, workers rights, voting rights as you have been such an advocate for. and once americans know, and once pennsylvanians know, the contrast on these issues. i think people are going to understand what is at stake and they will vote for me and vote for biden. but we ve got to get that message out. in one of the ways that we do that by making sure we will have the resources. i hope people will go to bobcasey.com to communicate that message about how we have
immigration should have been settled decades ago. i have a simple plan to settle immigration. let s give the 25 million people who are here guest worker visas. they ll then be paying tax and know who s here and that tax revenue, that $50 billion to $100 billion help us save social security, medicare and medicaid. well, at the same time, the republican leaders in congress and the president of the united states don t agree with that. with that. how do you make a difference if you re elected when there s been no effort by republican leaders and certainly not by the president to go along with guest workers? well, i think they need to realize that here in my district in p.a. 6 we need 1,000 new workers right away. to keep our agricultural industry moving forward and in northern part of the district in burkes county we probably need another 500. people don t want to work hard on the farm anymore.
here s what it looks like when you zoom in. this is the seventh district. some people say this looks like i think the washington post said goofy kicking donald duck or donald duck kicking goofy. it s a rorschach test, i guess. but this is a congressional district. you can see how it s drawn, it s so narrow so they can move out to lancaster county, pick up republican votes here, move to burkes county, pick up republican votes there. takes out the eastern part of delaware county. it s drawn in just the right way to advantage a republican. that s what gerrymandering the court is saying. that s what the republicans in pennsylvania have to change. they ve got a week to do it. steve kornacki, thank you. before we go, you know i like to end the show with there s always good news somewhere so here you go. a.j. muss is a snowboarder from my home state of new jersey who was headed to the olympics after overcoming unbelievable odds.
