Joe Biden the 46th president of America took his oath of office at a solemn ceremony on the Capitol Hill the seat of Government in Washington D.C. on January 20, 2021. As is the custom, the ceremony was attended by elected officials from both major parties and by dignitaries, but the most notable absence was that former of President Donald Trump, who broke convention and chose not to be present at his successor’s inauguration. After four years of having had Donald Trump in power, most Americans had probably forgotten what it is to hear a sober and reasonable speech from their head of state.
Senior Telangana activist Burgula Narsing Rao passes away
His uncle Burugula Ramakrishna Rao was the first Chief Minister of erstwhile Hyderabad State.

Hyderabad: Senior leader of the Telangana Armed struggle and a former member of the Communist Party of India (CPI), Burgula Narsing Rao passed away this morning due to COVID-19 induced complications, reports said. He was 90 and was undergoing treatment for the virus in Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills.
Rao was the president of Nizam College Student Union from the All India Students’ Federation when Hyderabad state merged into the Indian union. He participated in the anti-Razakars’ movement, in the murky period that followed the merger.

Burgula Narsing Rao
Veteran communist leader and an active participant of Telangana Armed Struggle, Burgula Narsing Rao, passed away here on Monday.
He is survived by wife Mangutha, daughter Malavika and sons Ajay and Vijay. 89-year-old Narsing Rao was born in a family of freedom-fighters like Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, the first Chief Minister of erstwhile Hyderabad State, who were all involved in the struggle for self-rule in Hyderabad State and the Independence struggle.
His childhood experiences shaped his ideas of nationalism and secularism and the nationalist Urdu daily
