Door-to-door Covid-19 testing will take place in Bedford this weekend, with teams of volunteers visiting homes in Cauldwell, Kingsbrook and Queens Park.
The volunteers will be handing out free PCR test kits to residents, returning the same day to collect them. Teams visiting properties to hand out packs will be carrying Bedford Borough Council lanyards.
The move comes as surge testing continues in the borough to tackle the high rates of infection - with the council saying it s important people get tested as they may be carrying the virus without realising it.
Teams of volunteers will be visiting homes in Cauldwell, Kingsbrook and Queens Park.

People who live, work or study in the areas of Cauldwell, Kingsbrook, Queen s Park and the Wixams are being strongly encouraged to take a Covid-19 PCR test this week.
