Decisions about the return of children to school in 2021 are made nationally by the Department for Education. All schools will be in contact with parents regarding their specific plans.
> Monday, January 4: Primary school children in the town will begin the new term. Secondary schools and colleges will provide remote education for those in exam years. Vulnerable children and those of critical workers will attend school as normal. Secondary schools will be preparing to undertake testing of students and teachers to allow for the return to face to face teaching.
