that republicans view her and probably accurately as a lightning rod for the midterm elections. typically, in a situation like this, the way the economy is going and the bp oil spill it will bode poorly for the democrats. is it too early to tell whether this is an anti-incumbent year? throw the bums out doesn t matter whether they are democrats or republicans, will hit the power party more? i think we can say safely it s an anti-incumbent year with slightly favoring republicans. but like we were talking about with john boehner s comments. the more republicans say things like that the more it becomes an all-around anti-incumbent mood. i think the president and white house hope they can hopefully get unemployment numbers down and get financial reform in place and health care maybe showing some results and they are hoping they can turn this trend around by november. sam youngman, white house correspondent for the hill thanks. thank you. ahead, the year of living
