Three-member judicial inquiry committee constituted by the UP government to probe the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother will give its report in two months.
The remarks from the CM Yogi came days after jailed gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were gunned down in full media glare and amid heavy police presence in Prayagraj district on Saturday.
The UP Police have already declared a reward of Rs 5,00,000 for any information leading to Guddu Muslim s arrest and Rs 50,000 for Atiq s wife Shaista Parveen.
Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead at point-blank range by three men posing as journalists on Saturday night when they were being escorted by the police for a medical checkup at a hospital in Prayagraj.
