Storms hitting the Eastern Cape are not yet over, with the worst still to come in several areas, the SA Weather Service has warned.Port Alfred, Cradock and Graaff-Reinet, along with areas to the west, received an orange level 9 flood warning from the weather service, while the entire Eastern Cape coast received an orange level 6 for huge waves.
A young and ambitious Ngqeleni-born businessman who grew up in abject poverty, is now on a quest to assist other young people from impoverished homes in the Mpondoland area where he was raised. He is Bulelani Mancotywa, popularly known as Khiwa (his clan name). The philanthropist and owner of Khiwa’s Media, who is also a popular photographer, is investing more than R250,000 into rural sports development, poverty alleviation and education initiatives.
