Guntersville police are investigating after a shooting Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m.

UPDATE:
Guntersville Police confirmed on Sunday that the victim in the shooting was 28-year-old Albertville resident Joseph Duane Alita.
The name and any potential charges of the shooter have not been made public, pending an assessment by the Marshall County District Attorney s Office.

Guntersville Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m.
Police received reports of an incident at a nightspot at the top of the mountain that continued into a nearby parking lot.
