Guntersville police are investigating after a shooting Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m.

UPDATE:
Guntersville Police confirmed on Sunday that the victim in the shooting was 28-year-old Albertville resident Joseph Duane Alita.
The name and any potential charges of the shooter have not been made public, pending an assessment by the Marshall County District Attorney's Office.

Guntersville Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m.
Police received reports of an incident at a nightspot at the top of the mountain that continued into a nearby parking lot.
