The Terps dropped the first game Friday afternoon, 2-0, but came back that evening to run-rule the Spartans, 9-1. On Saturday, the Terps continued their hot streak by winning the first game, 6-1, and walking-off in dramatic fashion, 5-4, in the final game of the series. In the circle, senior transfer Jennifer Brann was dominant in both games Saturday. The transfer from Penn pitched six innings in the first game, allowing only two hits and one earned run. In the second game, Brann came into the action for the final two innings, shutting down the Spartans by not allowing a hit and striking out three.
