BHUBANESHWAR: Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has cancelled the annual matriculation (class 10) examination in view of the COVID-19 situation.
Keeping in view the spike in COVID-19 cases, the state government had earlier postponed Class 10, 12 and all undergraduate and postgraduate examinations in the state, but as per the latest updates, the Board has now finally cancelled the Odisha Class 10th exam 2021.
Yesterday, a large number of students staged a protest in front of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik s residence seeking cancellation of the annual matriculation (class 10) examination conducted by the Odisha board.

BSE Odisha Class 10 board exam 2021: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has cancelled the BSE Odisha 10 board exams 2021 in view of the worsening Covid-19 situation in the state. The class 10 board examination was earlier scheduled to be held from May 3.
The state government had earlier put on hold the class 10 board examination, also called matriculation examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, the students had staged a dharna seeking cancellation of the class 10 board examination. In view of the surge in COVID-19 cases, the Class-10 examination conducted by BSE, Odisha scheduled to be held from May 3, 2021, has been cancelled, announced School and Mass Education Minister S R Dash.
