CLEMSON, S.C. Clemson senior Jacob Bridgeman fired a final round 67 on Friday and won the PGA Tour Canada Q School USA East 3 tournament in Dothan, Ala. With the victory Bridgeman has qualified to play on the MacKenzie Tour this summer.Bridgeman finished with a 72-hole score of 269, 19-under-par, to defeat Bryce Hendrix by two shots. Bridgeman’s final round 67 included six birdies and just one bogey. His 67 on Friday was preceded by rounds of 67-70-65. His 65 on Thursday included a six-under-par 30 on the back nine.The native of Inman, S.C. finished first among the 109 players who participated in the tournament. He was also first among 20 amateurs who were attempting to qualify for the tour that will begin play in June.Bridgeman is the second ranked player in Clemson history in career stroke average with a 71.03 figure.
