Right now, Phoenix Police are searching for driver who hit and killed a driver in a wheelchair who hit and killed a woman in a wheelchair early this morning. Jill has the latest on the victim and who officers are looking for. Reporter a sad situation. We are down here at 48th st. At mcdowell where a woman in a wheelchair was hit by a truck, and the driver of that truck just took off from the scene. Officers right now say that they are still working to try to track that person down. Phoenix police say it is not clear what this woman in the wheelchair was doing outside at this hour. Possibly she lived in the area. There are lots of apartment complexes right along 48 street. Also, if you are not familiar with this part of town, there are a few streetlights that are dimly lit at that hour. Officers say that they are is a situation where the driver did not see the woman until it was too late, o

Reporter we just got an update from tempe police. They tell us the 2yearold twins, a boy and girl, are being treated here and in very serious conditions condition and it sounds like progress because firefighters tell us when they got here they were still doing c pr on the twins, not breathing on their own at that point. It happened sometime around 11 00 in the morning. Police say both parents were home at the time, but at some point the toddlers got out of the home, into their backyard and into the hot tub thation around it. We heard it once, weve heard it hundreds of times. It only takes a few siksdz of in it in attention. Toddlers are very very mobile and they will find a way out into the yard. Reporter and its not known exactly how long the twins were under water. Police tell us that right now they are still at the scene investigating and the parents are being cooperative. Parents up early to head back to school today. And it will not be rainy like it has been all week. Except for after school. But then youre not trying to impress people. All the rain has shifted towards the western panhandle of florida. And look closer to home. There may be some sprinkles, but not the heavy dunn powers that weve seen in the past couple of mornings. Sarasota, you might sneak in here with heavier rain. Ive highlighted for you. So off to class this morning. Patchy clouds around and 76 and slim rain chance and after school, that is when the rain chances get better, 87 degrees. And look at it here. This morning, 20 and 30 at lunchtime and 50 early afternoon and 60 by the time the rest of us are coming home from work around 6 00 tonight. So i have an hour by hourlike at this first day of school for many kids. With the buses. Back to school affects all of us, if you have children or not. You will see extra traffic on the roads. Attention because it happens all the time. It is only getting worse. Reporter not even 24 hours after a bullet grazed his head, richard sunday is talking about the robbery that could have taken his life. It happened here at this atm at the pnc bank on grace and bedford. It was 10 30 at night. I actually hit the wrong pin which is the first time i have done that at that one, and it didnt give me no money. So when i was supposed to have money, this guy pops out says give me all you got. Reporter at first sunday didnt see the gun. So you just pushed him out of the way . He was back pedaling. I was going forward, he was going backwards. Wow. On the gun went off.
