Are you ready to take a Journey?
The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center hasn’t stopped “believin” that its dog of the week can find a forever home.
We first introduced you to Journey back in October. He’s a 2-year- old, American Bull Dog breed who is very energetic.
” He is very playful, very obedient, he is I think hearing impaired to a certain extent. He can hear me but I have a stronger, deeper voice but I think there is sometimes where he doesn’t hear as well as some of our other dogs” said Dog Warden representative Bryan Catlin.

Dog Of The Week
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is naming Shadow as its dog of the week.
Shadow has been with the center since January 5th. He gets along spectacularly with other dogs according to center volunteers.
“He seems like he’s fairly mellow, he does well on a leash. Does seem to pull a bit but if you tug back a little bit he does mind so he does have a little bit of discipline. The good thing is that he does seem like he’s been somewhat worked with. He seems like he takes treats well so he’s not like a dog that’ll be biting you or trying to take them out of your hands really fast.”, Warden representative Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.

Dog Warden Names Dog of The Week
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-This week’s dog of the week from the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is Britta.
Britta has been with the adoption center since and is a very friendly dog. Many of the volunteers have been singing her praises.
“She came to us as a stray on the 23rd of November. She’s approximately one to two years old. That’s about an estimate. She’s very young, as you can see. Very playful. She’s fairly easy to walk on a leash. Doug says she’s kind of curious. When you walk she keeps her nose to the ground, but she’s not very hard to walk.”, Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.
